Computer for Large NC files

From time to time I run some large 1,000,000+ line surfacing programs and loading the program and reloading then it reloading the program every time you touch off a tool takes a while. Turning of the program plot helps while the program is running but doesn't seem to affect the actual load time.

I'm Running a J1800i-a with 4GB of ram and using mesa hardware 5i23 with a 7i48 and 7i44(3 7i64s). Is the load time going to improve with a computer upgrade?

Yes, it will improve with a faster CPU and perhaps a SSD if you dont already have one
