I prepared the 64-bit version of LinuxCNC for Raspberry Pi

forum.linuxcnc.org/9-installing-linuxcnc...lem?start=120#224608

and I'd like to complete it with the arm64 version of rpi_gpio.

However I am not clear how to generate the .deb files from BigJohnT files.

What procedure is required?

I have a configuration tool for this, 64 bit today but soon to add a 32 bit.

The command debuild -b -uc -us was enough....

However I slightly modified the source otherwise it was not possible to display the pinout image

File .deb for arm64 can be downloaded at this link
rpi-gpio_1.0_arm64.deb

I was under the understanding that the RPI4 GPIO could only produce 20~30k step rates. A new project called pandapi is making step rates in the 10+ MHz using the rpi4 gpio. The pi does not have a PRU like the beaglebone or orangepi so what voodo is going on? any ideas and the real limit of Linuxcnc on the RPI

A bit from the project page:

"the obvious difference is that PandaPi control the motor directly.the gpio on the RPi speed being able to signal at 10+ Mhz as compared to 8/32bit MCU limit of about 10Khz/200khz for steps.that is one of my reason to explore this project. although the <100Khz speed is enough"
