Hi

I have recently setup LinuxCNC on a Taig mill with stepper drives.
I have also added an xhc-hb04 pendant. This took a little while as I had to comment out a number of lines in the xhc-hb04 hal file to get LinuxCNC to load. The problem I now have is that the mpg is moving the axes .001mm per click. How is this changed? Does the hal file have to be changed? On a metric machine .01mm per click is more suitable.

Regards

Ian

What lines did you comment out? Did you determine why they were not working?

If you commented out some lines and now some features are not working there is likely to be a causal link.

Hi

I was just about to reply to my own message saying problem solved.

I originally followed the instructions in the wiki. I now realise that was a mistake.

I did a fresh install of the xhc-hb04 using the configuration picker as described in the main xhc-hb04 thread.

I did not understand exactly what I was doing but followed the instructions step by step.

This time I think I have every thing working with the step button increasing the MPG increment.

Regards

Ian
