Why is Stepgen not outputting a steady stream of pulses with a constant velocity was created by tecno

I am getting pulsating signal on pin 6 to my step/voltage converter to control my VFD.

Anybody out there that can have a look at this odd behavior. Have been running Mach3 with no such issues.
