I tried many times and fifferent ways.
# external output signals
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.071.is_output true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.071.is_opendrain true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.071.invert_output true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.069.is_output true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.069.is_opendrain true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.069.invert_output true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.067.is_output true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.067.is_opendrain true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.067.invert_output true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.065.is_output true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.065.is_opendrain true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.065.invert_output true

# --- SPINDLE-CW ---
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.064.is_output true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.064.is_opendrain true
net spindle-cw hm2_5i20.0.gpio.064.out
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.064.invert_output true

# --- SPINDLE-CCW ---
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.066.is_output true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.066.is_opendrain true
net spindle-ccw hm2_5i20.0.gpio.066.out
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.066.invert_output true

# --- MACHINE-IS-ENABLED ---
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.068.is_output true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.068.is_opendrain true
net machine-is-enabled hm2_5i20.0.gpio.068.out
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.068.invert_output true

# --- COOLANT-FLOOD ---
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.070.is_output true
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.070.is_opendrain true
net coolant-flood hm2_5i20.0.gpio.070.out
setp hm2_5i20.0.gpio.070.invert_output true

Always 067 and 069 are ON. setp can't turn them OFF.
Sometimes 067 and 071 are ON.
Same problem.

How to make them work? I tried SVST8_4IM2.BIT and SVST8_4.BIT. No way.
I tried is_opendrain.
invert_output.
No luck.

What I'm doing wrong?

As i said you may have a 5I20 with a damaged FPGA, but its difficult to tell

What PC hardware, linuxCNC version, OS version , and md5sum of svst8_4.bit do you have?

You can delete the topic, I have found the cause - incorrect wiring.

Hello again.
I ran into a problem that I could not solve and ask for your help.

MESA 5i20+7i33TA LINUXCNC 2.7.11
Linux turn-r 3.4-9-rtai-686-pae #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 3.4.55-4linuxcnc i686 GNU/Linux

A few days ago in the morning my lathe refused to rotate the spindle to the required speed. That is 2250 rpm. With any command to get more than 830 rpm he stopped at 830, about, of course.
Yesterday, it lowered the limit to 500. Approximately.

What have I already tried? First of all, it happened suddenly on a fully working configuration, which worked regularly for several months.

I changed the card 5i20, 7i33, wires.
On the inverter comes not 10 volts, but, about 3.6 volts, and now 2.5 volts.
I changed the PID, nothing is affected. As if somewhere there is a restriction.

What else can I check and what exactly happened, to avoid this in the future?

May be IT WAS UPGRADE?

I would check the 5V at the 7I33

What did you upgrade?

OK so if you did not change anything in the software,
It sounds like either the 7I33 or 5I20 has a hardware problem

Is only one channel of the 7I33 malfunctioning?

Have you tried setting the PWM output to +- full scale in hal to check the hardware (with nothing connected to the 7I33)?

If you have swapped the 7I33 and 5I20 and you still have this issue it sounds more like an external wiring problem

(a shorted analog output on the 7I33 will make all analog outputs low)

This is a good idea, thank you.
I have not tested it yet.
I do not know how the wires could short in a night, but I'll check. I'll make new wires.

Yes, you was right.
Something is wrong inside the inverter.
