New version release date

Hello everybody,
im planning to move from Mach3 to LinucCNC and i would wait fot the new stable version (2.8).
When you think new version will be released?

current stable is 2.7.xx .... the master (dev one) is 2.8 .... but there are 2.6.13 version that there is very tested ...
see linuxcnc.org/ for more info ... but mach3 is MS ...

If you are not using a gantry machine (joint axis in LinuxCNC speak) or running a plasma and want to play with bleeding edge experimental development, components, stick to v 2.7 and be happy!

Im using 3axis homemade cnc no joint axis (i think), ill read to find mojor differences from stable and dev, tonight ill try install current release so stay tuned!! lol
