Hi guys
I have a CNC machine i would like to make an offer for but for a reduced price because of a faulty control system.
The servo drives and motors are still perfect so i would like to get linuxcnc in there ... what options? or do i give it a mis?
Its basically going to be a startup system till i got some funds for a new control, i just basically want to get it into production if possible and make it work.

Unless it is very unusual, LinuxCNC should be able to control it. The exception is certain proprietary serial control schemes.

No reason not to stick with LinuxCNC when it is working, as far as I know. It is just as capable as many commercial systems.
