Hallo

I have trouble to install the wheezy.iso downloaded from linuxcnc.org.
i downladed the linuxcnc-wheezy.iso and burned a dvd.
the Debian Installation starts well, but after 10 percent of installiation of the system files i get always an error:.
Did anyone have the the same error.
is there a workaround.
does anyone have an iso file that works well.
any help is appreciated.

I am not aware of any problems with the iso. Did you verify that you downloaded a good image (communication errors can give you a bad one.)
linuxcnc.org/docs/html/getting-started/g...ml#_verify_the_image
I've used it on both DVD disks and USB flash drives.

Another possibility is that you may have a hardware problem. (grasping at straws especially without knowing what the error messages might have been.)

Check the md5sum of the image, if OK burn the DVD at 1X speed or as low as possuble by the drive.
Or use a USB drive, much more reliable and you only need an old 2GB one.

thanks for your reply
it was a Problem with the Network.
now it installs fine.
the Installation must have acess to the Internet.
thanks to all!
