Need some help with Hal was created by Ivan_The_Red
Im looking for a way to disable keyboard jogging while my MPG is in use but i cant find any documentation about it. Can anybody offer any help?

I suspect that it it the GUI that is performing the keyboard jogs, and as such it can't be masked in HAL as it never gets to that layer.
However, with Axis (at least) manual jogging is disabled in the MDI mode, so you could try activating the pins that change mode: halui.mode.mdi

Thanks to everyone for your input. I want to look into each of the suggestions to see what the outcomes result from each of them. I did find a simple but non desirable solution which involved editing the gscreen file itself. Chris warned me that it might not be a good idea to do that because it would affect future update capabilities. Im going to spend time to learn how to make my handler file perform the same functions that my severely modified gscreen file now performs so ill keep you all posted
