Z Axis Homing was created by Les91
When homing the Z axis I get the error message: "Probe tripped during homing motion".The Z axis homes correctly then gives the error message. X and Y axis do not give an error message when they are homed first. I can't determine what is causing this error. If I sequence homing X then Y then Z, X and Y are properly homed and Z homes then gives the above error message. Would appreciate any help.

Assuming you have a probe installed my best guess is electrical noise from the Z axis is getting into the probe input.

If you _don't_ have a probe then it might be a HAL config problem.

Thanks for your reply. I have the probe input grounded. It just dawned on me that it may be inverted. I will check that.

Thanks for your reply. Why didn't think on removing the Z axis probe? This solved the problem and I am able to continue checking out my machine. I really didn't need the Z axis probe.
