Check my hal file and tell me if i had to add or mofified to start auto tune pid. It starts with no error but pid still works at it would be normal PID .

Tune-mode and tune-start are linked to the Xstart and Xaxis signals, but there is no sign (in that HAL file) of anything to set those signals to "true" to start the process.
There may be a GUI and buttons that do that, though.
Otherwise you probably need to open a terminal and "halcmd sets Xstart true"
(and the same for the Xaxis signal).
Be warned, all I have heard about at_pid is that it isn't very good. I have never tried it though.
I am a bit surprised to find emcmot.... pins in your HAL file. What version of LinuxCNC are you using?

I am useing emc 2.5.1 , latest version.
So, i have to add:
sets Xaxis true
sets Xstart true
sets Zaxis true
sets Zstart true
Well , i have problems with normal PID tuning. Motor is singing or oscilate.
I have brushed DC servo motors with tacho generators feedback. - velocity mode analog servo drives and mesa m5i20 and 7i33 with analog output.

You also might need to tune the velocity loop in the drive.

You might find that manual tuning works better.Well , i have problems with normal PID tuning. Motor is singing or oscilate.
You also might need to tune the velocity loop in the drive.

Yes, i will try tune servo drive for velocity mode and see results.
Thank you!
