Hello,
I'm also setting up my 7i76 board and hope it's OK to post a question here, because we're on the same topic. When choosing a 24v power supply for the I/O is there any particular spec or design I should look for? Like for example, should I look for a regulated power supply, what should be minimum current rating, how much voltage ripple is acceptable? My apology if this has been asked before but I don't think the manual talks about it...

I exlusively use laptop adapters for a lot of things, and original phone chargers for 5V. All newer laptop adapters are 20V 3A, 4.5A, 6A and some Dell even 12A. Fully regulated with all the protections included and work from 110V to 270V mains. I get used ones for 15 euro a piece from computer services.
