i am gonna read the source code of EMC, i feel silly but i still have to. however i do not know how to start~~any sugestion?? first i have the "source insight 3" to help me open the source code(i am used to read code in windows ), but 441 files are waiting for me~god help!! i even do not know which file is useful~!! how could i survive~? i need your help,thx~!

I would highly recommend getting on the IRC channel and asking there. Several of the developers are usually idling in the background and you should be able to get some direction. SWP (Stephen Willie Padnos) is usually one to chime and and lead the new folk.

Hello i want emc2 software source code for window is it possible?
And now i am working on my project to mark image through galvo laser source but gray scale effect is not came in my image.please give me suggestion how i do it.

Almost everything is possible, but making EMC2 work with windows would be impossible without help from Microsoft.

EMC2 relies on a realtime-patched kernel. You can't patch Windows because Microsoft don't release the source.

Even if you decided you didn't actually want to control machine tools, compiling the Simulator mode of EMC2 would need a huge amount of work, as it relies on many Linux kernel calls. You would need to find the Windows equivalents, and then modify the code to call them.

This is a rather long-winded way to say "No, it is not possible"
