Since the forum upgrade, no longer see option to move a topic to the correct section.
eg.
forum.linuxcnc.org/forum/18-computer/299...c2-7-ja8-custom-kins

has nothing to do with Computers and OS's and should probably be in Advanced Configuration or similar.

Because I am moderator for the section it has been wrongly placed in, I get a notification on every post which I cannot prevent, but can do nothing with it, save delete it.

EDIT: Now found the option under [moderate] which certainly was not intuitive to my mind, when there was an option to delete it completely on the main page

And if I try to send k-1 an email explaining why I moved the thread, no matter what I do, I just get a dialog with 'Invalid Security code' up when I send it.

There is of course no 'Captcha' or similar on the page, so nowhere to enter any code

apparently the captcha doesn't work properly when visiting the site using https. I will try to resolve this later today. Until then, you can try using a http:// url to access the forum and then send an e-mail.

Is this thing on?

I believe I have resolved this. the captcha displays for me now on chrome and firefox when accessing the forum using http and https. I also checked the new account page and it displays there, though I didn't complete any new account registrations as a check.

Is this thing on?

Just tried it on a windows tablet running Firefox under https access and works now thanks.

Will try again from linux and iceweasel, but don't expect any problem.

regards

EDIT: Tested with https:// on iceweasel and all working as it should be
