This project looks awesome! Any idea when the mill version might be trickling out?

Hey guys.

This looks awesome!

I am currently retrofitting a machining centre and will be very interested in this new gui.

One thing I think may be needed though is there needs to be some way of adjusting stuff like number of toolholders in the toolchanger. my machine has 24 tools etc. And any other custom things which need to change. If there was a way to easily change little details and we just use the gui as is for most of the other 90 percent of functionality that may be the way to go.

Not sure how hard that is to code in while building but I am so glad to see a gui project that doesn't look like it was made in the 1970s like axis.

Regards

Andrew

There are two mill versions of probe basic as well as the lathe version and other mill ui's to pick from.

Or you can simply roll your own after doing the tutorial.

once the original version of probe basic is completely hashed out and everything is working as intended, the vertical and lathe screens will then be brought current. it is the best use of time since they all share the same backend just different layout formatting. with things changing quickly now it would require a lot of doing and undoing potentially and that time is better served elsewhere to get the primary gui ready. then the others should be quickly updated with known good formatting.
