Hello again,
Well I have more of the machine setup, and am actually moving the machine, and drawing with a pen. So the problem I am facing is I am missing steps. If I run the test in stepconf for like a 50mm area, it will randomly lose a millimeter or so ever couple of passes, and eventually keep wandering. Adjusting the max speed/acceleration doesn't seem to help but it is hard to tell since when you slow it down, it is making less passes. I am running everything the same as above in the thread. What should the steps be in finding the source of this issue?
Thanks,
CP

Is it possible that it might be a mechanical problem? Mark any couplings or other mechanical joints to make sure they are not slipping.
How do maxvel and maxaccel compare to the actual maximums?
How random is the problem? It doesn't, for example, correlate to turning the microwave on? (or the spindle, or anything else electrically noisy).

Good point about checking the mechanicals. It is possible that the gear is slipping on the motors. I will mark them and try later.
