About the choice of motor

I have not asked this question in any forums on other sites.
I have some parts and want to make a lime stirrer, can I use this motor to do it? [www.oyostepper.com/goods-1230-220V-Brush...ar-Spur-Gearbox.html
Is the drive/control unit one unit? I don't want to connect an Arduino and program it to drive the motor, I found PWM controllers that only require the driver to be connected, but I am looking for a more complete unit.

No idea what a "lime stirrer" is, but the motor you linked to is a simple brushed AC motor with gear reduction, and will run at its rated 14.7rpm if fed 220v AC mains power. (If your wall outlet is only 120v it might only run about half as fast, assuming it doesn't burn up from over current.)

Varying its speed should be as simple as using an ordinary incandescent light dimmer switch, also called a "phase angle voltage controller". But it will only go slower, never faster than 14.7rpm. (Which seems rather slow to be of much use stirring anything.)
