boot error - Live CD

Just downloaded the LiveCD twice. Checked the MD5SUM both times. Burned two separate cd's. All this on a Windows 7 PC.

After Ubuntu loads, I get an error message:

UDEVD-EVENT[1389]: run_program: '/sbin/modprobe'

(initramfs)

My computer is less than 6 months old, fairly high end. It's my office computer, and I wanted to take a look at some of the docs, etc, which might be included on the Live-CD.

I have a much older, cheaper, computer in the other room that I've planned to use for the Bridgeport rehab.

Guess I'll have to hook a monitor and keyboard to it and give it a try on that computer.

I downloaded the Ubuntu 8.04 "Hardy Heron" LTS version from this site.
