I'm a bit lost with the post processor editing.
how I can edit and what I need to know to edit and match the post processor to my machine?
the reason that I choose solidcam is the very good collision detection and the integration with solidworks.

My machine is G0704.

1hp (700W) Spindle 50 to 1900 rpm (manual control)
All 3 axis use 5mm pitch ball screw
X travel 480mm
Y travel 160mm
Z travel 300mm

actual table size:
673mm
180mm

When i try to do simulation I get a model of 5 axis machine.

If I will model the machine in solidworks as Assembly, there is an option to implement it to solidcam?

Here is the setting for the motors:

Library, thanks for the solution to to using Solidworks with Linux CNC. I followed your instructions and it worked great. G30 caused me a problem so i removed it and changed G* to G7 as that's the code that controls my cooling.
You mentioned trying to do the same for turning. Have you been successful and if so do you have the corresponding files?
Thanks again.
