I also keep getting this error.

The computer is an HP8300, the fanduct is installed.

The latency test during installation was inconspicuous.

Moved to "driver boards" and renamed to reflect the issue, this is not the same as "unexpected realtime delay" errors.
-
Things to check:
-5V power supply
-servo period should be 1000000 (1 Million) in the ini file
-Network cable
-any of the 7i92 pins wired to a high load
-interference from VFD

Check all tmax values to see where the error lies:
( when LinuxCNC is running )

halcmd show param *.tmax

To interpret these values, the CPU frequency and the servo thread
period are also needed.

thanks

I will check the tmax values as soon as I am at the machine.

can it be due to an unsuitable cable between 7i77 and 7i73?

there was already a thin-wire shielded 24-pole cable in the machine.
with this I connected the 7i73 to the 7i77.

Only 8 wires of this cable were used for the serial connection, the other wires are unused,

But it runs parallel with the cables to the servo motors of X and Z.

The 7i73 still drives some control lamps, but with an uln2003 chip.

Maybe the 5V supply of 7i73 is too weak?

OK so the timings look OK

Does your system have a Intel Ethernet chip?

What are your ping times if you ping the 7I92?

Those ping times look pretty bad...

You might try:

dmesg | grep -i eth
