Hallo Leute,

uname -a ->
Linux cnc01 6.1.0-12-rt-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_RT Debian 6.1.52-1 (2023-09-07) x86_64 GNU/Linux

lsb_release -a ->
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID:    Debian
Description:    Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)
Release:    12
Codename:    bookworm

lsusb ->
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 8087:0a2b Intel Corp. Bluetooth wireless interface
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 17ef:608d Lenovo Optical Mouse
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 1c4f:0002 SiGma Micro Keyboard TRACER Gamma Ivory
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

Ich hoffe mir kann hier jemand einen Tipp geben.
Verm. eine Lapalie für jemanden, der sich mit Debian auskennt....

Viele Grüße
Jens

Try
sudo apt purge brltty
unplug and plug the USB, see if lsusb shows it.

RPI stuff was a Debian issue in BookWorm for a while, it can be fixed by deleting 3 files with z50-raspi and doing an update and upgrade.
But it would be better to install again from a new ISO as those issues are fixed.

OK, this wouldn`t be a problem.
So could you please give me an info which ISO do i have to use.
Becouse i like to use Probe Basic, is have to use Debian 12.

The ISO I have installed on this Thinkcentre was downloaded 4 days ago, (LinuxCNC_2.9.pre-amd64.hybrid.iso)

Thanks a lot.

Many thanks @tommylight, i tried this option too.
After installing without internet connection and solving some trouble afterwards becouse of the missing entries in the sources.list, LinuxCNC seems to run.

Sadly my problem with the USB-Receiver hasn`t changed.
Interesting thing is, that right after fresh installation, the USB-Receiver has been found and listes in
Code:
lsusb
But after updating the system the problem is back. So i think in one of the update-packs there is something that couses a problem with this hardware-combination.

Maybe its a problem with this Lenovo Thinkcentre M900 (with onboard WLAN)
I never had this problems before on any DELL Optiplex (without onboard WLAN)

Best regards Jens

In Debian 12 all syslogs unfortunately change.
 I found here something debianforum.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=187876
I would unplug USB Receiver -> plug again and run
Code:
sudo journalctl -b |grep usb

My Receiver return this. Maybe you get some error log and we can dig little more.
Code:
