Program runs to the first cut command. Torch does not come on and program stalls on this line. You can skip lines and it will run moves no problem but will always stop on a torch on command line.
I've included the backup file and the gcode I was attempting to run.

Linux is updated to most recent 2.9 version and PlasmaC to latest 0.180.

2 Things worth noticing in hal signal check tool.

1 - pin 17 is false, (expected to be true because its my output torch pin and it works fine manually)
2 - cut start is True, so it is indeed asking for cut start.

Thanks again!

I dont know how my first post dissapeared.

On the Config tab there is a Backup button, use that to make a copy of your config that you can post here.

linuxcnc.org/docs/2.8/html/plasma/plasma...-guide.html#_support

Could you also post the gcode file that doesn't run.

YOur photo clips off the important stuff. What does "no module named ..." say?
You may be missing a dependency if its compiled from source.

There are a few things happening here.
1. There is a bit of strange duplication and odd values in the ini file, try the attached one.
2. You should set the Z home position to about 5-10mm below the Z maximum limit.
3. The Probe Speed is way too slow, that is where it is hanging.

dealt with all the extra weird duplication stuff,
z home has been set to -5 , axis travel is now +1 => -40.5 with offset at +1.5
trying faster probe speed now.
