Tormach PCNC1100 S3 running Linux CNC? was created by shane121
Does anyone here run LinuxCNC for thier Tormach mill?
I recently downloaded and ran Linuxcnc Probe in virtual box and to be honest, would be keen to run this over pathpilot. Unfortunately i dont have any experience in setting up the configuration files or even know if its possible.
Would be keen to hear if anyone has done this and to get there thoughts.

It _might_ be as easy as installng the GUI files and changing the DISPLAY variable in the INI.
Though there are probably quite a few gui-related HAL pins whose names will change too.
I think I would try changing the GUI and see what broke.
(Make a copy of your working config directory to work in, so the original setup still works)
