Period time. was created by ww34ww34
Hi everyone,
I'm asking a question about period.
I've done a stepconf wizard configuration
My configuration have this parameters.
step time = 2500ns
Step space = 2500ns
direction hold = 2500ns
direction setup = 2500ns

then i try to set "X step" first without flag and than with flag "invert".
I measure the period with the oscilloscope and the two period are very different.
Anyone know why?

Hello,

Maybe I am not seeing correctly, but on of the images you have 20us and in the other 5us the scale, and one step seams about 4 times the other's size. It is a coincidence? Can you try with both scales equal? For a standing image is not clear what dots device the "unit".

I ned to scale to fit the pulse in the window.
But if you see the measure(yellow write on the bottom left) you can see the period.
For up pulse 4.5 us
For down pulse 64.6 us....much more.

I solved by myself.
I edit the hal file and i missed the line

parport.<portnum>.pin-<pinnum>-out-reset

This fix the strange latency on inversed signal.

There was a bug with stepconf in 2.7 where it did not enter the reset lines either, as per below.

A new pull or deb should correct it
