How to connect input and output to MESA 7i76

Dear all forumers,
I have Maxine EP1C driver and there are inputs and outputs are controls with "gnd" voltage. I add pictures from manual.

I have MESA 7i76 card and there to input should come 24V but in manual of the drive to output connects 24V but it not generates them. Should I connect to DO1 of drive DI of messa and to DOCOM - GND? IT will be inverse signal then.
And outputs of MESA should send 24 V but to input of the drive comes gnd. Can I connect to input of the drive - output of mesa 7i76 card? Will it work?

Thats bit awkward since the both the drives inputs and outputs work the opposite way as the 7I76s I/O

For 7I76 inputs you can add a stiff (say 2K) pullup resistor
Ror 7I76 outputs you would need to add a relay or OPTO
(or use a 7I76D which has sinking outputs)

Thank you Peter. I used Relay as you advised.

7i76D:
7i92_7i76x1D.bit

Contingencies:
For PNP or NC (Normally Closed) limit/home switches you must connect the
hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.input-XX-not limit/home pin to motions limit/home pins

Contingency Avoid:
Install Normally Open Switches

LinuxCNC:
hm2_7i92.0.7i76.0.0.input-oo
does not exist

Is the compiler error a I/O Pinout Wiring error of Sinking/Sourcing NO/NC?  I think the compiler error is failed communications  between 7i92/7i76D.
How to compile & find this switch?

7i76D
Inputs = Sinking
Outputs = Sinking

This diagram has 7i76E Inputs = Sinking
Correct?  Sinking Inputs are Common = TB1 Field Power Common +24V

"hm2_7i92.0.7i76.0.0.input-00 does not exist"
means that there is no communication from the
7I92 to the 7I76D's field I/O section.

If you connected 24V to the 7I76D's 5V power connection,
its possible that many of the 5V parts on the 7I76D are damaged
including the ones involved in communication with the field
I/O section.

Thank You for confirming my Short Circuit of 7i76D will also fail 7i76D I/O.

Tech:
7I76E HAS DIFFERENT VOLTAGE THAN 7I76 @ TB3
7I76E TB3 @ PIN 21,22 = UNREG LOGIC PWR+ IN
7I76D TB3 @ PIN 21,22 = +5V
  1. 5V ONLY
    1. NOT EQUAL TO
      1. 24V UNREG LOGIC PWR+ IN
My attempt at "hm2_7i92.0.7i76.0.0.input-00 does not exist"
was for the goal of "Diagnostic 7i76D after Short Circuit @ TB1",
attempt to find the 7i76D I/O Switch & confirm Any of 7i76D is funcitonal whatsoever after Short Circuit TB1.

hm2_7i92.0.7i76.0.0.input-00 does not exist
Confirms the Diagnostic of 7i76D Short Circuit:
7i76D is in Failed after Short Circuit, Input-00 does not exist
