Good evening Linuxcnc,
I have a 7i76s with a working cnc plasma table. I have THCAD-10 for torch height control, works great. I would like to add THCAD-5 for OMIC hypersense. i dont see the encoder B option in pncconfig. Is this a viable option for this board? I flashed the 7i96s dpl firmware and can see other encoders but no options for me to use.

This is an issue in PnCconf, I have pushed a fix to master branch.

this was a big oops on my part i have a 7i96s, never post after a long day at work . is this still the case. i am running 2.9 master. I will check in the am.

Having two or more THCAD connected to Mesa 7i96S or 7i76E requires flashing the firmware using mesaflash.
The firmware for Plasma will have the letters"pl" in the firmware name together with the card name.
Warning:
Always use firmware made strictly for the card you are trying to flash, so only 7i96S firmware with letters pl in the name in this case.

I had a chance to connect everything up today and test. 7i96s DPL firmware, linuxcnc 2.9, QTplasmac. The OHMIC hypersense with THCAD-5 works great. I wish i had started using linuxcnc long before i started with GRBL. This is soooo much better in all ways. Also converting my OX-CNC to linuxcnc and that is working great.
