Hi guys,
I am new user. I recently installed linuxcnc on a separate hard disk to control my cnc. It is great I love it. Now I want to try ubuntu. please tell me how to install ubuntu on the same hard disk along with linuxcnc.

Download and make a bootable USB or DVD, boot and proceed to install as usual , at the second or third screen it will sugest to install ubuntu alongside whatever system you already have so just click next. Usualy it does that automaticaly and it works without any problems.
You can choose what you want to boot at the grub menu when you start the computer.
