Hi, I've done a Debian Buster Respin with the newest Rtai kernel found in linuxcnc.org/temp you can download the iso at sourceforge .. sourceforge.net/projects/linuxcncrtai281/
All of you must say why? well I love Linuxcnc and Love the ProbeBasic interface and do not have money or means to get a 7i76e Mesa Board, here in Brazil the custom taxes are something that goes above a robbery as an assault. Also our money are so devaluated that one mesa board costs to us over 900 U$ between buying the board, custom taxes and shipment..
As I'm a enthusiast and use my CNC as a hobby and have some knowledge of how to build a Respin I decided to do it with linuxCNC , Rtai Kernel and publish as a gift to all of you .
In order to create a USB bootable use Rufus (windows)
And Please, disable HT (HiperThreading), VTX and if available in Bios use One CORE only, disable everything that will compromise RTAI like CPU speed Step C1 C2 etc..

Good work, be prepared for a lot of support questions and being at the back and call of all & sundry, just don't give your email out to anyone.

Downloaded and changed to .img and .iso
Tried with balena etcher and raspberry pi imager.

Does not boot: unable to read partition as Fat.
Can see usual files on the medium when opened via pi-explorer after mount.

What do I do wrong?
THX in advance
Mike

this is not for Pi4, to create a installer do It with Rufus .
I'm doing some improvements like probe_basic already installed for a next release.
