Ethercat with panasonic servo

Hi everyone.
I want to control the Panasonic servo using Igh Ethercat Master.
I installed Ethercat Master into Linux pc and tried to use tool to control it like Ethercat download or upload.
But the servo motor could not move. So, if you worked with Panasonic Ethercat servo successfully, Please give me some advices.

Hi,

did you install linuxcnc-ethercat already? there is a long thread in the hal section of this forum....

To move the servo, the communication has to be in the state of cyclic realtime date.
this means ethercat OP State. For this lcnc ethercat is needed to setup the proper realtime pdo configuration and map it to linuxcnc hal pins.

ethercat upload/download is only SDO configuration, which is for configuration and not in realtime....
