Help with math (stepper speed)

Hi All,

Newbie here. I got my 7i96s up and running for the most part yesterday and testing it out with one of those classic chinese closed-loop stepper driver/motor combos, namely a Rattmmotor 2HSS60 driver and the 60HSE3N Nema 24 motor they supplied with it.
They don't give me a lot of data with the package, other than N.m (3.0), a chart for setting the switches to get anything from 400 microsteps/rev up to 51,200, a spec that says "up to 200kHz pulse response frequency," 24-50V input, and 1000 encoder lines.

Given that data, I'm curious what I should play with (and how) (and probably more importantly SHOULDN'T!) In the Pncconf settings to see what this is capable of in terms of speed. Keeping the 200 steps/inch setting with 50,000 values in Step On-time, Step Space, Direction Hold, and Direction Setup fields, with 0 on the encoder scale, 60 max vel, 30 max acceleration isn't giving me much in terms of speed with the microsteps maxed on the driver.

I'm curious if they provided enough data to calculate anything to tweak these settings and if so, how?

Thanks! If this is more of a Stepconf thing, please feel free to move this thread if necessary

I would start with:
5000 Step time
5000 Step space
10000 Dir setup
10000 Dir Hold

uStep ratios > 32 or 64 are generally useless as the current feedback errors and
motor pole accuracy errors completely dominate.
