UI for HAL development

I think that is the way to do it. Record the existing component links, unload the component, reload with one more, and re-make the connections.
Machinekit has the option to add extra instances at runtime. I think. My suggestion that this was a waste of time was met with an invitation to leave the project.
(I stand by that, in general, most configs are nearly static once they work) A config GUI like your project is a special case.

Question to some experienced HAL-Guys: Is there a possibility to deal with adding Components at Runtime?
Could I use a workaround like removing the Component and adding the needed count of Instances and connect the previous existing ones again or are there some pitfalls?

That´s exactly the way i want to deal with it - but sometimes the easy things are not as simple as they look...

Now hiding unused ports and unused nodes is possible as showing live values of pins.

Now it is available on Github:
github.com/dev-git-usr/HAL-Editor
Some of the buttons on top are a bit buggy but feel free to test by your self.
