Hello,
Thank you for your work. Very impressive.
I downloaded the image and tried on RPI2, it worked fine. But no success with booting on RPI3. Is there anything to tune for RPI3?
In the weekend I'll try with Mesa 7i90 card. What GUI you recommend?

Hi tinkerer,
Thanks for the quick answer and more information
I found on your site site the link to the Raspi2 image.
As I said this image boots well on RPI2 .
The same image is not booting on RPi3 and I have no cable for serial console, so I can't tell anything more.
Also wanted to update the firmware but author of firmware update warns to not do it without good reasons. I am not sure if I should do this update.
I had a little time to start with 7i90, so wired the RPI2 and 7i90 as you described above.
Compiled the driver hm2_rpispi.c but when I start the machinekit I get this:
Oct 28 14:26:55 machinekit msgd:0: hal_lib:17294:rt hm2: loading Mesa HostMot2 driver version 0.15
Oct 28 14:26:55 machinekit msgd:0: hal_lib:17294:rt Invalid cookie

Oct 28 14:26:55 machinekit msgd:0: rtapi_app:17294:user rtapi_app_main(hm2_rpspi): -19 No such device
Oct 28 14:26:58 machinekit msgd:0: rtapi_app:17294:user unload: 'hm2_rpspi' not loaded
Thanks for the help in advance.

Do you have SPI firmware loaded in the 7I90?
