That’s the rule for the font. And it’s a good thing because it is easy to remember. For example, while writing essays, we are told to use Times New Roman font and keep the size 12. Well, the same rule applies to the Chicago format too.

Are you stuck with formatting papers when you would rather write them? Am I correct?

Well, to be honest, it is not that bad. Not when you come to understand the dos and don’ts of a write my essay style.

This is exactly why I wanted to tell you all about one particular writing format: the Chicago Style, which every essay writer should know about. 

It is used in most academic papers and even journal articles, so I thought we could look at it.

Here are its rules:

Rule #1: Times New Roman, 12

That’s the rule for the font. And it’s a good thing because it is easy to remember. For example, while writing essays, we are told to use Times New Roman font and keep the size 12. Well, the same rule applies to the Chicago format too.

So, you need to go to the “Home” tab in your Menu Bar and change the font and its size.

Rule #2: Double Spacing

Line-spacing. It is the vertical space between the lines of your text. And you can change it in the “Home” tab as well.

Click on the “Home” tab and then look for the “Paragraph” section.

There on the right-hand side, you will find “Paragraph and Line Spacing.” Change this to 2.0, which indicates double-spacing, a convention for this style.

Rule #3: Standard Margins

The margins of the Chicago format are standard. It means that when you open up your Word document, you will not essay writer to set the margins like you set the font or spacing.

But, just in case, the margin is not under the “Home” tab. Instead, margins are in the “Layout” tab.

So, click on “Layout” and then look at the far left for margins. If you are using a “write my paper” service, ensure that the margin size is according to the standard. 

Rule #4: Indentation

Remember how as children, we were told to give a two-finger space before starting a paragraph? Yeah, you have to do that while typing as well. It’s called indentation.

In Chicago, every paragraph is indented.

You can give this space by simply pressing the “Tab” key. Once. It will give a 0.5 indent to your paragraphs.

Rule #5: Page Numbering

Page numbering is very important in every type of citation. Like every type! No exception.

The one thing you should note is that we don’t give numbers to the cover page.

The page numbering begins from the page where your paper starts. In Chicago, you can set the pay someone to write my paper at the bottom of the page or the top right-hand corner. 

Page numbering might look like a minute task. But these small things make an essay written by a paper writing service score more than the one written by average students. 

Rule #6: Footnotes

Chicago format has no in-text citations. Instead, you give numbers to a source and then refer to that source in the footnotes.

So, if you use a quotation, you will put the number “1” after it. Then, for the next source, you will use the number “2” and so on.

In the footnotes, you will mention these numbers and add the reference. 

Rule #7: Cover Page

The Chicago format does have a cover page, and it includes quite a bit of information.

First, you mention the basics, like your paper’s title and the subtitle, if you have one.

Then you give a few spaces and write down your name, student ID, and any other stuff that your professor might have mentioned.

The date comes at the end.

Well, this is all I can tell you.

I don’t know more than this. But I bet that a “write my essay” online service would know far more than I paper writing service. So, if you need the exact specifications, then get in touch with one of these companies.

You can ask them to write you a paper in Chicago format. It doesn’t have to be a long one, just a couple of pages.
