Configuring two-servo gantry with separate home/limit switches

Does your VFD have 0-10v input? POT input? The 7i76E card has a spindle output or that.

It does, but I'd really like to use RS-485 if I can.

Note that for things like routers, modbus is a good choice but its typically not good for things like rigid tapping since its not realtime.

That should be okay since I don't have an encoder on the spindle anyway.
