Lathe : 2nd turret over limit switch was created by vibram
Hello I have this specific setup where my secondary turret is beyond my limit switch. What are my option if I want to use it and I still want to keep my security up? Is there a was to disable temporarily the limit switch with a specific tool? Thank you

I tried to do it correctly so I wired them as normally closed. I have 2 limit switches on the axis and this one is also my home switch.
If I follow your advice then I need to revert everything to have the other LS as HS. This is not an issue to be honest, just thinking about the consequences.

The _joint_ (ie the actual moving part of the lathe) is not outside the joint limits.
However the drill chuck _is_ outside the Axis (XYZ) limits.
The INI specifies the joint and axis limits separately. You might just need to able to set the axis limits to allow a very negative Z (deep down the spindle bore is very reasonable for a long drill)
