Good spotting. We have a bit of a chicken/ egg problem here. You want to be out of E-Stop before enabling NC-Ready, but can't be out of Estop without NC-Ready.
I guess it would work if we did it similarly to the Phillips start sequence. Press E-Stop release and NC-Ready at the same time.

We can remove the 7A1 from the cnc ready chain, and use it as input to LinuxCnc for servo enabled and ok. Or we can modify the qui off Gmoccapy so there is only one bouton for estop-servo enable, like in the video

I need to test and see of pushing both buttons at once would work, as if does is it will need to least change to anything.
Today I cut a peice of scrap aluminium as a mounting board for the various electronics. The ITX PC and 7i77 will go on the mounting board,
while the Heidenhain EXE mounts on the side wall,
and the 7i84 on the cabinet door under the MAHO relay board.
While waiting for the "Verdrahtungskanal" (the wiring chanel with the comb wire openings) to arrive, I need to design and 3d print a DIN rail adaptor to mount the ITX PSU, the harddrive and the Heidehain EXE mounts.
The 17" touchscreen monitor arrived today as well, so I can start measureing and laying out the control panel and housing. I friend of mine has contracts with a laser cutting company in Bratislava, so i'll be getting the sheet metal laser cut.
How is your gearbox ladder coming along John?

Tomorrow I will start making the new configuration according to your wiring diagrams.
Your machine does not have the slightest sing of use, not even dust on the cabinet. It was from a school?

Do you have list for the capacitors on the amplifier that needs to be replaced so I can make order?

100µF 40V 85° 20% Elko (8 of)
2200µF 40V 85° 20% Elko (3 of)
You will need to check those values against your Indramat. Your 600E motors are probably more powerful than my 400E's.
Yep. It came out of the HWK Passau in Bavaria. I have done a fair bit of cleaning, but it was more dust than swarf and coolant.

I thing that you should shield the exe board from electrical noise. The output of the exe board is digital (on-off quadrature) but the input is sing wave from the heidenhain scales, any noise in this signal is perceived (from the exe board) to be motion

Also we must pay attention to the way we make the grounding of any component we add to the system, or we may end up trying to tune the servos for ever do to ground loop.

All axial.
I was planning to reuse the original MAHO +/-10V twisted pair/shielded cables, and the original Heidenhain cables. Good point about making a faradays cage for the EXE.
