Hello everyone in this forum.
Finally, I got some time for my little Maho 800.
I installed the 5i25 and 7i77 cards, but I'm not happy with the interpolation. I use the EXE900 series and I connected it as in the picture.
what is the possible cause to get the radius at the corners
Greeting

Good to see you making progress.
The corner rounding is not a bug, it is feature of the G64 look ahead being active, with a tool path at high speed but combined with limited acceleration. It would look the same on my MH400E if I ran G0 or G1 with near rapid feed rates, and the default G64. You can switch this off with G61, or adjust the blending tolerance behaviour with G64.

Played with the lathe again yesterday.
Wonder why the photos which are correctly orientde by Windows, are displayed rotated here in the forum?

Glad that helped. Did you pack your EXE's into that die cast Aluminium housing? Why? No space in the control cabinet?

I wired up my tool height setter like this...
Looking at
with HALShow, the pin is high, but it is not reacting to the switch opening. I measure the voltage from TB8-11 to gnd and it remains 24VSC even when the button is pressed. Doing a continuity test on just the switch, it is NC but opens at the button press.
Have I wired this wrong?

<engage brain>
Hold that, I just realised I wired it like this...
No wonder it didn't work.

I rewired it to the first schematic, and tested it, but it still doesn't work. The pin stays high, even when the button is pressed.
Any suggestions appreciated.

The EXE is in the original box and there was when I bought the masinu and the box in front was with some relays that overlapped the two-way signals as if it was a two-way machine. Now i did not work with linuxcnc I used a lot of MACH3 now I have to slowly resell this.

Hi guys,
Started working on connecting the Mesa parts to the machine. Here's a problem. The 5i25 is in the PCI slot, and the 7i84, 7i74, 7i73 are all connected to a 5V DC PSU, like Mark did. The power LEDs indicate that power is being supplied to all the cards. There's a flat signal cable connecting the 5i25 and the 7i74 (IDC26 to DB25). The 7i84 and 7i73 are connected via RJ45 patch cables to the 7i74.
However, when we test the pins using the show pin command in the Linux terminal, we only get 5i25 pins, like in the attached text file. In addition, regardless of whether the 7i77 is supplied power from the 5i25 or from the 5V PSU, the pins shown by the terminal remain the same. The EXE card and encoders are not yet connected. All jumpers have been set accordingly to the power supply. We tested a few combinations of power inputs (FPGA and 5V PSU), but Linux always shows the same signals. Is there anything missing? Any ideas? Maybe the DIY signal cables are bad?
The picture shows the LEDs on all cards when power is on and the PC is running.
