Trying to track down a working Linux CNC post for Mastercam X6. Looking at the APSX Spyder benchtop cnc that uses Linux CNC.
If anybody has a Spyder CNC would be interested in your thoughts on the machine?
Cheers

I am a self declared mastercam expert.
I made on at my job, I commented out the % and the program number and it runs good sofar. Ive done 3 axis stuff sofar
I used mpfan the generic fanuc post . If you were to post what you want the code to look like I can most likely get it to work. Fancy TCP logic would be over my head

Hi
I made a linuxcnc post for a friend some time ago, for X5 if my memory is correct.
3 and 4-axis and lathe with some restrictions, no tcp. Based on fanuc post(s).
I'll try to remember to dig the archives when I got home
Edit: added the modified posts.
Feel free to use as you wish at your own risk.
These are not official posts in any way, I take no responsibility if anything unexpected happens.
Control definition settings (known to work)
NC output: Absolute mode
misc int values:
1. work coordinates = 0
2. abs/inc = 0
3. reference return = 1
Feed options: select all unit/min and inverse = feed in minutes
Rigid tapping is not tested
