Retrofit Engraving machine was created by bharath12

I have bought this engraving machine to retrofit for my end use and want to learn from it. I want to know what size of steppers? I am thinking of attaching steppers using couplers, but is this type good?

Probably Nema 34 as machine is old and requires a lot of torque to move.
