Backlasah compensation

Hey guys. I have a Taig Micro mill with Gecko 540 and nema 23 steppers with Linux cnc. I am brand new to Linux cnc. Where do I enter the backlash compensation? I also have a Jog shuttle. How do I configure Linux cnc to work with this. Thanks in advance for the help.

Backlash comp goes in the INI file, in the [AXIS] sections.
