Do you drive the Toyota in your avatar in the pictured environments? [If: my envy guaranteed. No way in my country]
OT: off.
If you can, get a SSD, good and fast USB stick, install LCNC on it (you will love to have that, always, at least I do!), attach it to thePC in question. Fire it up, go to bios, disable everything suspicious, boot into LCNC and do some thorough testing. You might need to pay the owner a beer. If it fails, undo your settings and have the owner sip the beer, go home and look fo another PC. If it is successful, I'd pay some more beers to bring the price down :-]

Maybe this will answer the question of do I drive my Toy in that kind of environment
this one of my sister driving my truck in water for the first time
this is an early one with a friend of mine riding with me
these video's have been taken in a gated multi owner property (15,000 acre's total 12,000 driveable)
unfortunately I haven't had the truck on the road for a few years.
I am trying to get my dad set up with a reliable truck so we can both go out and Offroad.
as far as the Dell OptiPlex 7010 . I have the replacement on the table with an SSD and I am
running tests as I type this post (on a different computer) .
Haven't made any changes in the Bios yet ( other then boot order ) I want to know the absolute worst case scenario.
first up is Linux Mint XFCE 19.3 . Then Debian Buster 10.6 XFCE
I will report my findings when I am done . Figure about a week.

Jitter on base thread is around 11000 to 15000 ns. I am having some issues getting
the test script to unzip so I can use it . As soon as I get that sorted I will post the results.
with what I was getting with Mint ( base thread of around 10000000ns ) I was beginning
to dought the opti 7010 was going to work.

Regarding the script: Glad you got it sorted out. If you do not have any latency numbers, it is because of permissions. If you start the script in a directory created by root, normally only root has write rights. I'll have to address this in the next version of the script. For now, you can change the owner of the directory to the user the script runs the latency test.
Example below:
The directory "W510" is owned by root. User cnc will have read permissions only. So if you cd into "W510" and invoke the script there, you will not have any latency data written, as the very latency test is run under user cnc. To correct that, I would have to do the following:
