Problem with G-Code was created by conicio
Hi everybody.
I'm new on this things of CNC and Linux so I'm a little bit lost
A couple of weeks ago installed linux emc2 to control my brand new home made CNC mill.
After several attempts I've almost tuned it, but when trying to load an ISO G-code file I'm getting an error on Axis:
"Unknown g code near line 3"
I've checked the code and it seems to be ok
Attached is the file with the g-code.
Does anyboddy knows where the error is?
Please I'm getting crazy.

Check to see what G71 is supposed to do... then convert that to a G code that LinuxCNC understands.

I think it is Fanuc for G21, switch to mm units. (Or so Google suggests)

YES you got it.
G71 is G21.
I was really stuck with this as I searched the internet for g-code help, and found a page (really a PDF) where G71 is documented as milimeter program, and G21 as parametric subroutine call.
If you want you can see the pdf on
www.gulmi.com.ar/iso.pdf
but it's in spanish...
Thank you all for your very rapiud answers (and sorry for my bad english)

A tip, when you see "Unknown g code near line 3" check the line before that one for your error.
