Are there any variations of g codes to system to system.
I am confused about it.is not it a universal machine language.
"When machining a screw thread on a CNC lathe we have a few options. Depending on the version of the FANUC controls, we can use one line of code or two. Both methods use the G76 command and contain information that tells the machine controls the details of the thread that we wish to cut. Thread cutting can also be performed using a G32 G Code and G92. We will take a look at how these works along with the more common G76"

Fanuc punch press: T5 LAA 45 20 25 <<< means Tool 5 (round 8mm) Line At Angle of 45 degrees 20 holes at 25mm centre distances.
It also use Grid and other sch commands.
Fanuc for a mill or lathe can not use such gcode, although it is Fanuc.

Fanuc uses different gcode for different machines, so yes they are different in some cases.Dinuka_Shehan wrote: FANUC and Linux cnc different each other?
