Hal file for toolerator

I need to get an example of hal and ini file entries to use the toolerator component. I have a Ardunio that controls my lathe turret but would like to integrate it into LCNC.

The turret uses a stepper for rotation and an pancake air cylinder to unlock the shaft with the tool disc. The program takes the shortest path to the required tool.

Thanks for any help

That can be set up in several ways, in hal, in gcode, or remap.
Does it have any sensors ? One should be enough, most probably, for index or homing.
In gcode should be pretty easy, remap not so easy, hal usually very hard but i still have not thought the process through. Need more info on the workings of the "toolerator "!
Was this on cnczone quite a while back ?

The LCNC component works through USB and requests a tool and expects a return of the requested tool after the change. There is no interaction with the turret as the Ardunio handles the logic and the stepper.

The toolchanger has a sensor for tool #1 so the homing is done by searching for the sensor and setting a homed flag in the Ardunio.
I am attaching the Ardunio code.

Thanks again for your help.
