Thanks for your reply.
After changing the counter-mode to 1 and inverting the count direction.

When i watch encoder.00.position for a while, i see that the value is drifting away, but the spindel stay on the same speed...

Thanks.

Maybe i'm wrong, but is there feedback from the PID to my spindle?

Thanks!

Your hal file does not use PID for the spindle (the analog out is set directly by LinuxCNC from gcode)

The encoder feedback is for threading, and the position should advance
by 1.0 for each forward turn of the spindle

Thanks.

I want to use the PID for controlling my spindel.
I changed already this line: net spindle-output hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0.pinout.
But what is the best way to give the encoder ouput to the PID feedback input?

Thanks

I would actually suggest you _not_ do this until you have
threading working with a direct (no PID) system
