No device 7i96 board found

Greetings to all.
I am trying to flash my 7i96 I am using debian 10 buster and linuxcnc 2.8 the ip address of my pc is 10.10.10.101, I can ping the card the problem is that when I run the command sudo mesaflash --device 7i96-- readhm and I get "No 7i96 board found", mesaflahs version is 3.4.0

What does the command:

ip a

report?

Mesaflash requires the IP address of the card for ethernet boards, most probably 10.10.10.10

Yes, forgot that, if the FPGA card address is not the default 192.168.1.121, you must
supply the address on the mesaflash command line:

mesaflash --device 7i96 --addr 10.10.10.10 --readhmid
