Installing Mesa CT was created by greg23_78
I have a big problem as a beginner, but being really unfamiliar with debien, it's impossible to update my python3-pyqt5.
I tried :apt update
apt upgrade

dowload python3-pyqt5_5.15.9+dfsg-1_amd64.deb
sudo apt-get remove python3.5
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python3.5
sudo apt-get purge python3.5

but impossible to install python3-pyqt5_5.15.9+dfsg-1_amd64.deb.

What is the procedure to change the python3-pyqt5 5.11 from LinuxCNC 2.9.2 Debian 12 Bookworm PREEMPT-RT ISO to the newest python3-pyqt5 for install the newestmesact beacause i am stuck

Why are you trying to update python3-pyqt5 on Debian 12?

Mesa CT works fine on Debian 12.

My version is 5.11.

So I can't install mesact

I downloaded the iso and ran the live cd and there seems to be a problem with xfce and running gdebi from the file manager. I had no problem installing Mesa CT using a terminal and the following command. Also seems xfce is broken if you try and launch a terminal using the keyboard with Ctrl Alt t. Must be a reason I don't use xfce and prefer Mate.
Code:
sudo gdebi mesact_2.1.4_amd64.deb
