I have had a good time with this project. The previous mills I have done were not this involved. Well worth it just on the experience end of things. Getting really close to being complete and hope to be done in the next couple weeks at most. I am really excited to let this mill eat some material.

The mill is finally finished and ready for use. I am sure I will be tweaking stuff here and there for a bit more. I will post my config files in the next couple days. Thank you everybody who has helped answer some of the questions I have had and for putting up with me.

Just a short video of the mill going through its paces. Just doing it in air right now. Making sure all things are functioning.

Hello,
Sorry, but I do not have a drive to sell anymore. I forgot that I had a list of items on the first post. 90% of those items are gone now and I do not see a place where I can update the list.
Wish I could help you out.
Jeremy

Hello again chopper, I've been reading your whole thread because I'm probably going to retrofit a MC 500V, many thanks for all your effort on this, it is very useful and valuable for me.
now,
I'm want to ask you specifically how did you apply voltage to the analog line?
I'm guessing you connected an external variable power supply (+/- 10V) ? or did you use a potentiometer?
IF you used a power supply did you connect the ( - power supply signal ) to the (- common servodrive)? how did you connect it?.
many thanks for your repply

Might be too late, but I have a the sister to your machine more or less. If you have any of the old parts let me know. I have a problem with one of the servo packs and CPU board. I would love to find out what all you had to go through to retrofit the machine.
