In the documentation at
linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/config/pyth...ommand_tt_attributes
under :
feedrate(float)
set the feedrate.
Is this right or should it say set the feedrate override value?

You are write it is the FEED ovrride factor
not the feedrate
it is always downgraded to below zero or to the max in ini
saying 12.0 gives you 120%
or 1.2 is 120%
0.8 to 80%
