Just wanting to start a thread about the new forum maybe what's new, what issues the users find and so on.
I noticed a new private message when posting, not sure, what that is about, testing it now.
I think all attachments result missing at the time I'm writing this
The navigation bar with "Recently Posted" "My threads" "New Thread" ... is missing
The new WYSIWYG for posting is more usable than it was on the old Forum.
Only 5 messages per page, did not find a way to have more.
Thank you again to John for taking the time to upgrade the forum, this is just a friendly list of what users find, keep it civil no complaints.

Private message contents appear on top of my post for me, are they invisible to other users?
If you can see the picture above, new attachments work

I can see your attachment image.
A few things I miss from the old system were the short cuts for showing all unread messages or new posts, no replies, and my topics. Is there any plan to replace such things?

The only plan I had was to attempt to get the forum moved to a new OS and update Joomla and Kunena... and that worked sorta, I lost some stuff in the transition.
I'll take a look tomorrow and see if they are just turned off or what.

Glad to see the forum back up ! I also noticed all the old forum attachments seem to be missing. Any bookmarks or url references to the forum are no longer working as well. The url string has changed. For example..
Old: forum.linuxcnc.org/show-your-stuff/48185-m-e-s-s-i-board
New: forum.linuxcnc.org/index.php/show-your-s...8185-m-e-s-s-i-board

Based on your screenshot, I was wondering how did you enable dark mode on the new forum ?

In Recent Posts some threads appear twice, and some even more,
I see
Installing 2.10 master
appear 4 times in the list at the bottom
shouldn't they be grouped, with a marker (4 new posts) instead of getting displayed 4 separate times? I think that was the old behavior if I'm not wrong
